【Humans of Taipei】養鴨的鵝哥

“My five pet ducklings are mixed breed. Their parents are black duck and white duck. They are about 50 days old. I keep them in my balcony. Recently I am busy taking care of my sick father and it’s been one week since their last bath in the park pond.

“Every time I take them to the pond and they always play for one or two hours. And then they come up, shake water off and groom their feathers. One of them is the leader, one is timid and has autism, and the fattest is the gluttonous vice leader. The hobos in the park saw them and thought they are geese. They call me ‘the geese guy’. Anyway, it sounds better than duck guy or chicken guy in Chinese.

“Why do I have ducklings as pets? I fed stray dogs, squirrels, too. This hobby is better than hanging out with toxic friends!”
