左：「我們是台中人、高中同學，高中畢業後，他去高雄念書，我大學、當兵都在台北，所以有五年沒見面了。他以前很會嗆人，現在好像比較有禮貌了。」
右：「我上禮拜到台北來找工作，剛剛才結束一個面試。每個工作薪水都兩萬多，扣掉房租、日常開銷，實在存不到什麼錢，也不敢交女友。」
左：「你是自己很挑吧！」

Left: ”We are from Taichung. We were high school classmates. After graduation he continued his study in Kaohsiung and I came to Taipei for college and then military service. It’s been 5 years since we last saw each other. He used to be sharp-tongued but he seems more polite now.”

Right: “I come to Taipei to look for jobs, and just ended an interview. Now every job has low salary, only a bit more than 20k per month. There are rent and other expense. It’s hard to save money and I am afraid this will make it difficult finding a girlfriend.”

Left: ”I’d say it’s because your standard is too high.”

Right: “Not really. She only has to be kind-hearted.”
